A new, dog-friendly coworking space is open in the ultra-spacious former location of Grandma's House on South Broadway.

By the numbers: Roughly 45% of Denver households have dogs, per HomeDog's estimates, and about 22% of workers in metro Denver are remote, U.S. Census Bureau figures show.

What they're saying: "When I was working for a tech company, I would either sit at home all day with [my dog Narly] and just get bored — or I would go to a coffee shop and feel bad that he was sitting at home," founder Alex Novik tells Axios Denver.
